Matt is the owner and lead audio engineer, bringing more than 20 years of experience in audio engineering, sound production, and music development to every project.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering in 2025, graduating summa cum laude from the Los Angeles Recording School, where he developed the technical expertise and creative foundation that continue to shape his approach to recording and production today.
But Matt’s experience goes well beyond the control room. As a musician, songwriter, and producer, he understands the recording process from an artist’s perspective. He has produced both EPs and full-length LPs and remains actively involved in Portland’s music scene, performing with several local bands, including Parabola, Tragic Kingdom, Riot, Futures, and Secret Satellites.
For Matt, music is both a profession and a passion. He loves creating and developing his own music, but he is equally passionate about helping other artists discover and achieve the sound they envision. Whether working with an experienced musician or someone stepping into a recording studio for the first time, Matt brings technical knowledge, creativity, and a collaborative approach to every session.
His goal is simple: create a comfortable environment where artists can focus on their music and leave with a recording that truly represents who they are.
